The number of the flowering plants may decrease.
This is because many flowering plants need to reproduce by using insects as a media of pollination, they need the insects to have pollen stick on them and transfer it into the stigma, which is the female part of the flower.
If there were fewer bees, there would be less chance that flowers get pollinated and therefore the number of flowering plants may decrease.
