The nurse should ask the patient about his or her daily schedule. This can help the nurse check if any medication for the seizures would have undesired effects on the patient during their work period, such lowering their arousal level and make them drowsy. The nurse should also check if the patient is taking any ongoing medication so she can see if there would be any adverse effect if taken along with seizure medication.
