I didn't get an answer. Can anyone help me? I'm not sure how to do this. I have 20 minutes to hand it in. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Blood alcohol content (BAC) is a measurement of how much alcohol is in someone's blood. It is usually measured as a percentage. So, a BAC of 0.3% is three tenths of 1%.
BAC is usually determined by a breathalyzer, urinalysis, or a blood test. However, Swedish physician, EMP Widmark developed this equation for estimating an individual's BAC.

B= -0.015t + 2.84 N/Wg

B= percentage of BAC
N= number of drinks
W= weight in pounds
g= gender constant 0.68 for men or 0.55 for women
t= number of hours since the first drink

1. Show me how to figure out this math problem. A male student has three beers and weighs 200 pounds. Find hes estimated BAC two hours after his first drink. Round to the nearest hundredth of a percent..........

2. A female student weighs 120 pounds and plans to go home in two hours. Calculate her BAC if she has 3 glasses of wine. Round to the nearest hundredth of a percent.

3. In Washington state, if you have a BAC of 0.08 or greater, you can get a DUI. Would either of these students get a DUI if they were pulled over?

Answer :

[tex]\bf \stackrel{BAC}{B}=-0.015t+\cfrac{2.84N}{Wg}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ 1)\\\\ \begin{cases} g=\stackrel{male}{0.68}\\ N=3\\ W=200\\ t=2 \end{cases}\implies B=-0.015(2)+\cfrac{2.84(3)}{(200)(0.68)} \\\\\\ 2)\\\\ \begin{cases} g=\stackrel{female}{0.55}\\ W=120\\ t=2\\ N=3 \end{cases}\implies B=-0.015(2)+\cfrac{2.84(3)}{(120)(0.55)}[/tex]

well, is either B above of 0.08 or larger? if so, well, he/she better get the wallet ready then.
