Answer:

When you think about the grasslands some basic questions pop into your mind. Like; What are the grasslands; where are the major world grasslands located; what are the types of grasslands and what are the plants and animals that live in the grasslands, and some other random questions.

The grasslands are wide lands filled with wildflowers, grasses, and other small plants like mosses. The amount of rain the grasslands get is not enough to grow forests and tall trees, but there's just enough to grow small plants so that it is not a dessert.

The major temperate world grasslands are generally located between forests and desserts. Some of the major temperate grasslands are located in Southeast South America in Argentina, and Uruguay, Central North America in the United States, and Asia along the southern portion of Russia, and Mongolia.

Types of temperate grasslands-

The grasslands in Central North America are called the Prairies. The Steppes are located from Southern Russia to Ukraine and Mongolia. Located in Southeast South America these grasslands are often called Pampas.

Animals and Plans in the grasslands-

A variety of animals live in the grasslands, Like wolves; eagles; weasels; bobcats; foxes; geese; buffalo grass; blue grama grass; sunflowers; sagebrush; clover; asters; goldenrods; butterfly weed; and butter weed.
