The answer isnt A because Persues is obviously the one with the upper hand laughing, so he has nothing to fear. B couldn’t be right because it isn’t being told in first person, it’s told in 3rd. C can’t be right because distress and terror have nothing to do with being repulsed. The answer is D because the story indicates the sisters are in fear
