What is loyalty? Loyalty is something that is often blown over. Everyone has a differn't idea of what loyalty really means. Some believe it means not cheating on your partner, others believe it means telling the truth, and some believe it means never leaving someone you love behind.
Why people cheat in relationships is most likely because they either feel insecure about themselves or just get bored of the same thing. It's never okay too and there is never an exception. When you are in a commited relationship with somebody you show that person loyalty and commitment.
If your loyal to a person you care about you should always tell the truth. Don't keep secrets from them, if they don't accept you for who you are then they are not worth it. Loyalty is the same thing as telling the truth. Which is also kind of like integrity but they are connected.
If you love someone then leaving them is not considered loyal. It means you just gave up and weren't willing to try harder. That when something goes wrong you don't try and fix it, you just walk away. WHich is the perfect example of showing no loylalty at all.
In summary, loyalty is something that is worked on, improved upon, and means many different things. There is no exact definition of loyalty but you should always show it.
