It was a lot harder because depending on if the women had kids she'd have to do even more and doing all this by yourself is pretty hard to do when you don't have help and the daily housework the women had to do would you keep getting more challenging each time but that's what the women did back then, so a lot of times they just got used to it. some of the things would take a couple hours to do or wouldn't you operate so getting things done around the house back then for women was a lot to do.
