Some things that have impacted my own self esteem were comparing myself to others, not being confident in myself, or even letting someone else bring me down. I have discovered new ways to maintain high or positive self-esteem by not letting other bring me down by ignoring them or not letting them know its bothering me, if the bully/person knows that they're effecting you then they will continue to bring you down. Second, I try not to compare myself to others anymore so instead of saying "Oh I wish I looked like her", I would tell myself "You look amazing" and I would have some of my friends help me too by telling me I look good. Lastly, I would compliment others, when you make others feel good about themselves it makes you feel good too.
