Number of cups used for making one batch of cookie :-
[tex] = 2 \frac{1}{2} \: cups[/tex]
Number of cups of flour I use = 7
number of batches of cookie I make :-
[tex] = 7 \div 2\frac{1}{2}[/tex]
[tex] = \frac{7}{1} \div \frac{(2 \times 2 + 1)}{2} [/tex]
[tex] = \frac{7}{1} \div \frac{5}{2} [/tex]
[tex] = \frac{7}{1} \times \frac{2}{5} [/tex]
[tex] = \frac{14}{5} [/tex]
[tex] = 2\frac{4}{5} \: batches[/tex]
Therefore , I have made :-
[tex]2 \frac{4}{5} \: batches \: of \: cookies[/tex]
